Now I Can Remove Your Wart In As Little As One Treatment!

I give you today's YouTube video -- featuring our very own Kate. Not only is she able to defeat warts -- but she has a kid!!! (Don't tell Steve. It might freak him out.) So, here, for your viewing pleasure, is her Compound W. commercial.

Ten bucks to the first person who catches this during 'the Price is Right'.

Also -- I wanted to let everyone out there know that next weekend is the annual Revlon Run/Walk for Women. And, as most of you know, my Sister and I have done it since we moved to the city many moons ago. It's an important event -- and it's a fun way to start your day (complete with all the Krispy Kreme's Diesel can eat before the race). So, if you're interested in joining us, here's a message from our fearless leader -- Lil' D., my baby sister:

Dear Friends,

As some of you may already know, I am yet again organizing a team for the Revlon Run/Walk For Women in New York City. This event will bring over 40,000 men, women and children together to celebrate the hope and progress in the fight against women's cancers.

On Saturday May 6th, we will gather in Times Square for a 5K run/walk to Central Park. This special event benefits women's cancer research and I would like to have a big team come out and show their support for a great cause. This year, I am again leading the team for an organization I am very proud to be a member of, Step Up Women’s Network. Step Up is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls in New York City. We are encouraging not only our members, but their friends, family and co-workers to join our team in this exciting event.

If you are interested in becoming a team member, simply click on the link below and register to be a part of team Step Up Women’s Network. I look forward to hearing from as many of you as possible. If you are not able to join us at the event, but would like to make a donation to our team - please contact me or click on the link to our team’s page and make a donation.

Team Name: Step Up Women’s Network
Team Captain: Allison Deiboldt
Team Number: 1517

Thank you in advance for your support for this special cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please come join the fight to eradicate women's cancers!

Sincerely,
Allison
If you guys can make it -- we'd love to see you there. If you just want to make a donation, I should have my page up this weekend, so feel free to donate to me (Allie's got enough friends as it is...).

Have a wart-free weekend, guys.

Happy Birthday, Jackass.

Steve, originally uploaded by Kluv32.

I would like to ask everyone to join me in wishing one my oldest friends (I've been stuck with him for fifteen years, now) a happy birthday.

And, just so that he doesn't feel I've cheated him by putting up this unflattering picture of him, I'll include some more...

That Steve! What a personality, huh?

Drink up, you dreamers. You're running dry.

WIMR Podcast Logo, originally uploaded by Kluv32.

After a few years hiatus, the WIMR radio show is back, this time in podcast form. Bobo will welcome everyone back properly on the board tomorrow -- but if you're cagey enough to catch us on the main page now -- head on over to the WIMR Page, and grab a cold one.

Welcome to the party. Again.

Radio Silence...

Behind Home Plate., originally uploaded by Kluv32.

For the record -- NOBODY email me anything about the Sox game today. I am at work, and will have it TiVo'd and ready to watch when I get home.

Under pain of death, people.

Hold me., originally uploaded by Kluv32.

"I think about baseball when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day and I dream about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm playing it."
-- Carl Yastrzemski

"If I was being paid thirty-thousand dollars a year, the very least I could do was hit .400."
-- Ted Williams

"As I grew up, I knew that as a building it was on the level of Mount Olympus, the Pyramid at Giza, the nation's capitol, the czar's Winter Palace, and the Louvre — except, of course, that is better than all those inconsequential places."
-- Baseball Commissioner Bart Giamatti, on Fenway Park

"When I'm in Boston, I always feel like I'm home. I almost cry, I feel so good."
-- Luis Tiant
