A gaggle of friends whose ties are traced back to the same small town in upstate NY. Photography, humor, music and good times abound.

Hibernation

Yaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwnnnnn... Wow, who would have thought a whole month of Unemployment could be so busy!!! You haven't heard from us in a while, but that's mainly because Diesel and I have been doing some "covert ops" missions for Uncle Sam - we're slowly coming back now though, so I thought I'd drop a long-deserved update onto the main page.

The folks at Steinway Manor have been battling with Time Warner for over a week now about our intranet services (which have been on the blink). Hopefully they will be solved soon...I dare say that has been one of the contributors to the atrophy around here and on the board... Well, that - and all the damned alcohol out there. There's just too much of it to keep us focused. Too easily distracted, see?

Speaking of distractions, the baseball season is well under way. And Ire, Myself, and any self-respecting Sox fan are not going to gloat about our showing over the last few weeks - especially versus the Yankees. We're just glad that we have a good squad this year, and that everyone is giving 110%, and god-willing, this could be the year. We are actually currently constructing the annual Red Sox Mix CD right now - it's looking fabulous. The shining jewel of this years edition of "Reverse the Curse" is a ditty called "Scarlet Letter" by a guy named Jon Gorey. It was discovered thanks to Matty and his cousin... I'll have to post the lyrics sometime soon. I'm also a big fan of the song we discovered called "Papi" by "Public Announcement." That shit is off the hook, yo!

A Mafiiite, our very own Duck was in the news recently. Punk Rock sent me a link to an article about them transvestites in the trees the other day. Yep, god love New York in the spring! Also, it seems that our own little page might be in the news soon as well - be sure to keep an eye on some upcoming issues of the fabulous IC Quarterly, kids.

Also, the Revlon Run/Walk is tomorrow from Times Square to Central park… Little D, Myself, Diesel, Ire, and K-ther are all gonna be there walking to fight those goddamn women's cancers. Good cause - you can still contribute if you want to any of us here:

I think that's all I got in my tank for now. I also recommend picking up the new version of iTunes - it’s kept me busy for a few days now. Lovely new interface that allows you to share your mixes with the rest of the world. Good times, no?

Go Sox, I'll talk to ya'll later.

Me so drunky...

So thanks to the Mok's digital photography, I was finally clued in to what transpired on that hazy Christmas Eve night at the Lorenz household. I think the pictures speak for themselves, but I'll comment on them anyway.

First, they filled me with icy cold Vodka.

Then they stuffed herring down my throat...

And the next thing I knew, Eric's nephew whispered if I "wanted to come upstairs..."

All I know is I woke up with severe Nintendo thumb and a pounding headache. Damn you Lorenzessess. Damn you.
